Thinking Ahead: Volunteer physicians, ARNPs, PA-Cs Needed for COVID-19 Defense in Tele-Med

Volunteer providers are needed for tele-med services if the need should arise.

To All Healthcare Providers in Our Community:

Volunteer physicians and ARNPs wanted for tele-medicine services or on the front lines of the hospital if the need should arise.

While we continue to aggressively implement recommended precautions to help prevent the spread of CoVID-19 in our community, WhidbeyHealth continues looking forward with proactive steps.

Island retired and inactive providers and nurses have contacted us to volunteer their services. Now that WADOH has established more flexible licensing requirements due to the emergency, we are eager to build a reserve workforce should we need one. If you are not currently credentialed, we have a rapid process in place confirmed to expedite restoring certifications for physicians and nurses.

If you are interested in volunteering your services as a healthcare provider at WhidbeyHealth Medical Center or through tele-med services, please contact Chief of Operations Colleen Clark at

Thank you for your service to our community.
