Heather Good, certified physician assistant (PA-C), is authorized to practice medicine under the direction of a medical doctor. She currently practices at Whidbey Island Internal Medicine, where she provides a broad range of diagnostic services and clinical care for adults of any age. Knowing that people are most likely to follow treatment plans that they helped devise, she elicits patient involvement in developing and carrying out strategies that support successful health outcomes. Good also coordinates treatment for patients who are referred to medical specialists. She joined our medical staff in 2012.

Patient Care Philosophy

  • Provide high quality, comprehensive and compassionate care and education to adults with chronic and acute medical conditions.
  • Using a multi-disciplinary approach, collaborate with other providers to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Work closely with patients to formulate and implement health care plans that satisfy them and meet their treatment needs.

Scope of Care

  • Comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for adult acute and chronic medical conditions, from high school age through the advanced years
  • Management of both common illnesses and complex problems
  • Coordination of specialized medical care, both on and off Whidbey Island
  • Counseling and education regarding preventive health
  • Health promotion and disease prevention through annual physical exams
