Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL)

New class for senior falls prevention taught by certified SAIL instructor Rae Hicks begins July 9. The class meets from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in the hosptial's old Conference Room A in Coupeville. Please take Birch Street, park in back and go in through the cafe doors.

“SAIL” is a senior falls prevention exercise program recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Senior falls are the number one PREVENTABLE cause of injury, disability and death to those 65 years and older. Exercise is the best way to decrease senior falls.

When: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning July 9 through the end of 2019.

Where: WhidbeyHealth Medical Center old Conference Room A. Use the Birch Street entrance and park near the café. Enter to through the cafe doors.
