Community Update 1.14.2020

1.14.2021

(UPDATED at 10:30am)
We have been notified that our Primary Care Clinic Freeland and our Walk-In Clinic Clinton will not have power restored until this weekend. Primary Care Freeland and Walk-In Clinic Clinton will be closed until Monday 1.18.2021.

Until power is restored:

  • All Primary Care Freeland patients affected are being notified that their appointments are being moved to our Primary Care Cabot Drive.
  • Walk-In Clinic services will only be available at our Oak Harbor Walk-In & Outpatient Services Clinic (Goldie Street).
  • If patients need to contact their provider at our Primary Care Freeland clinic or Walk-In Clinic Clinton, they can do so by calling our Walk-In Clinic Oak Harbor at 360.679.5590.

We want to assure everyone that our complete emergency and trauma services are available without interruption while power is being restored to all parts of Whidbey Island. Anyone who has sustained a serious injury or is seriously ill with symptoms like shortness of breath or chest pain should immediately call 911. Our Paramedics are in full operation and are ready to help.

Due to the island-wide power outage, WhidbeyHealth Primary Care Freeland and Walk-In Clinic Clinton will tentatively be open to serve our patients at 12:00pm today, unless the current power outage continues. WhidbeyHealth Primary Care Cabot Drive (Oak Harbor) and Walk-In Clinic & Outpatient Services Oak Harbor (Goldie Street) will be open our standard hours today, along with our Specialty Care Clinics.

If Primary Care Freeland is unable to regain power by 12:00pm, we will contact our patients scheduled today and have their appointments moved to our Primary Care Cabot Drive clinic. If Primary Care Freeland is unable to regain power by 2:00pm today, we will contact our patients scheduled tomorrow (Friday 1.15.2021) and move their appointments to our Primary Care Cabot Drive clinic.

Updates to power restoration will be communicated as an update to this post later today as we learn more about the power returning to areas of the Island.
