SAIL activities are focused on reducing unnecessary injury by helping to improve strength and balance\, if done regularly. \nClasses are offered virtually through Zoom so Island County residents can experience live exercise sessions with certified instructors from the convenience of their homes. \nIn-person fitness assessments are required for new participants and are scheduled to take place the second week of every month at the Race Road Fire Station (or Bayview Road ambulance depot) with Robert May\, lead paramedic for WhidbeyHealth Emergency Medical Services. This is followed by a brief Zoom meeting with the SAIL instructors on the 3rd Tuesday of the month to on-board participants to the process of using Zoom for SAIL.
