Our healthcare system has seen extraordinary challenges this year.
Our community is not alone. Over 30% of rural hospitals across America have closed in recent years, and many more are struggling. Labor shortages, supply chain gaps and inflation are affecting everyone.
Their impact continues to create challenges, like those facing our ferry system, making access to local, quality healthcare more important than ever.
WE NEED YOUR HELP to make sure we continue to have quality healthcare close to home!
We are grateful for your ongoing trust in the Foundation to be your voice and the steward of your investment, maximizing the impact of each donation.
TRUE IMPACT: 97% of every dollar you donate goes directly to improving patient care, ensuring the ongoing delivery of exceptional care, without exception.
With the cancellation of our Annual Gala, your donations are more important than ever.

In addition, the generous golfers at Union Bay Golf and Country Club raised money to purchase two automated CPR machines that will save lives.
As the new norm unfolds, we are grateful to for your support as we navigate these uncharted waters together. If COVID has taught us anything, it’s to be constantly looking ahead so that we are prepared for the next challenge!
Our commitment to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of our diverse community resulted in the addition of Walk-In clinics, in both Oak Harbor and Clinton, providing convenient and affordable healthcare, x-rays, laboratory services and mammography, close to home. Opening the WhidbeyHealth Pharmacy added much needed services to Central Whidbey.
As our community ages, having access to services like joint replacement with accelerated recovery, physical therapy and an award-winning cancer center make it easier to face life’s healthcare challenges without traveling off island.
For those who receive care at an off-island facility, WhidbeyHealth works with your provider to manage your recovery care right here on Whidbey, close to home.
