Christine Wiese, ARNP, joined the hospitalist team at WhidbeyHealth Medical Center in 2017. Her previous experience includes an environment with medically complex patients at a long-term acute care facility in Madison, Wisconsin. With 15 years of direct patient care, Wiese comes to WhidbeyHealth with h6 clinical skills, experience in both inpatient and outpatient care and a natural ability to build a rapport with patients and families.
“I’m good at listening. I love the detective work that goes into being a hospitalist,” Wiese says. “I gather all of the pieces of the patient’s story and come up with the most appropriate diagnosis.”
Wiese holds a Masters of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing with a specialty preparation as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a board certified nurse practitioner, she is also a member of the American Nurses Association and is certified in both Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
