Jon Scallan brings 15+ years of quality improvement, patient safety, and healthcare accreditation experience to his role as Chief Quality Officer. Jon previously led two healthcare systems through DNV GL hospital accreditation and ISO 9001 certification and established numerous quality and accreditation/certification programs.
“My passion lies in driving better quality of care and safety for our patients,” says Jon. “I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to build quality management systems that improved patient safety and satisfaction and to develop staff into healthcare leaders for the future.”
His 23-year career in healthcare that began as an EMT and combat medic in the US Army. He has worked in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, drug and alcohol counseling, neuropsychometric testing, and case management.
He has design, implemented and led emergency preparedness, environment of care, patient experience, medical staff services, and risk management programs. Originally from Houston, Texas, Jon has an MBA in Healthcare Management and CPHQ certification.
