Art Photography Needed for New Wing

Many photographers have asked about displaying their work in our new inpatient wing. We are asking interested photographers, both amateur and professional, to submit images to be considered for the new space.

In a few short months, the new wing at WhidbeyHealth Medical Center will be ready for move-in.

As a public-district hospital, we are here to serve the community. We want our new space to reflect the beauty of our island and its people. We believe that photography taken on Whidbey Island will create a more healing environment for those receiving care in our new wing.

Both amateur and professional photographers are invited to submit electronic images to be considered for a one-time reproduction and installation in the wing. The medical center will reproduce the photos up to 40 by 40 inches.

Pieces will include the photographer's name and/or website as a watermark-style signature. Every photo selected will be acknowledged as the donation of a one-time use of the image, with proper tax documentation and acknowledgment.

We are soliciting photos taken on the island by local photographers. If you are interested in submitting photos, please contact us for the full scope of the project as well as details regarding file size requirements and how to submit. Call Helen Taylor, Executive Director of the WhidbeyHealth Foundation at 360.678.7656, ext. 4020 or email contactus@whidbeyhealth.org.
