Walk-In Clinic Clinton

Life’s minor illnesses and injuries sometimes require medical attention and the Walk-in Clinic in Clinton is the perfect solution. Whether a resident or visiting Whidbey Island, everyone is welcome. No appointment necessary.

Life is on pause, but our need for healthcare is not.

Our community asked for more access to quality healthcare and we are pleased to deliver with the opening of our new Walk-In Clinic Clinton.

For your convenience, we've created a virtual tour of Walk-In Clinic Clinton for you here.

At the Walk-In Clinic Clinton, staff recruitment, equipment modernization and facility renovations have all been completed to serve patients with non-emergency problems that don’t require the intensive medical support of our Emergency Department.

Our Walk-In Clinic will provide an array of services for non-life-threatening problems such as:

  • Minor cold and flu-like symptoms
  • Minor bumps, cuts and burns
  • Muscle/back pains and strains
  • Low-grade fevers
  • Ear or sinus pain

Open every day; no appointment necessary.

Please remember: For life-threatening emergencies, always call 911.

Wait times at walk-in clinics are often minimal compared to an Emergency Department. South Whidbey residents will be able to count on access to WhidbeyHealth providers without an appointment, during convenient hours, and very close to home. Island residents, as well as island visitors, are welcome to use Walk-In Clinic Clinton and do not need to be patients of WhidbeyHealth primary care providers to do so.

Walk-In Clinic Clinton will also continue to offer Diagnostic and Laboratory services, including screening mammography services.

As with all services available to our patients during the Coronavirus pandemic, the reinforcement of protective safety precautions for all patients and staff are our first priority in re-introducing services. Health and safety protocols for staff and patients during any visit will be strictly enforced and will include:

  • Temperature screening upon entry to any building
  • Patients showing a fever will have to reschedule their appointment
  • One patient support person will be allowed during the patient’s visit
  • Patients will be required to wear a mask on entry to any building
  • All staff will be required to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks, goggles and, in some cases, gowns
  • Spatial distancing in waiting areas will be strictly enforced
  • Clinical areas are included in the rotation of our new Halo Disinfection Systems (An evaporation system which uses a dry fogging delivery of disinfectant throughout any complex space to eliminate pathogens beyond the reach of sprays, wipes or UV lights.)
