Rosa Rangel, MD

Dr. Rosa Rangel joined the WhidbeyHealth medical staff in 2014 as director of the hospitalist program. A hospitalist specializes in the care of hospitalized patients and their unique conditions. Dr. Rangel earned her medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, then completed a residency and internship in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. She has served in a variety of roles in different hospitals throughout the South. Before joining us through our partnership with Sound Physicians, she served as an internist, director of the intensive care unit and EKG reader at Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna, CA.
