If your doctor’s office is closed or not nearby or you are visiting from out of the area with a non-emergency need for medical advice, the Walk-in Clinic could be the perfect solution. Our medical staff is ready to diagnose and treat you without an appointment.

Providers and staff are available without an appointment with convenient access to other medical services including:

  • X-Rays – Easy access to our new, state-of-the-art digital radiography system that uses lower radiation doses
  • Laboratory Services – Blood work and other testing are also available without an appointment. Just bring or have your doctor send us the order and stop by during regular clinic hours.
  • Stitches – Take care of cuts here at the clinic and save a trip to the emergency room.

Walk-In Clinic or Emergency Room?

Choosing between the Walk-In Clinic and the Emergency Rooms should be based on severity of the health problem. Walk-in clinics are the perfect solution for most non-emergency situations–the type of condition that you might go to your regular doctor, but it’s after hours or they aren’t close by.

WALK-IN CARE

When something happens outside of normal business hours or if someone you know just needs to be seen but does not have a provider here on the island, you can take advantage of the convenience and affordability the Walk-In Clinic provides.

Situations can include any of the following conditions:

  • Back pain
  • Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
  • Minor headaches
  • Bumps, cuts, and scrapes
  • Fever, cold, or flu symptoms
  • Ear or sinus pain
  • Cough or sore throat
  • Animal bites
  • Sprains, strains or suspected fractures
  • Mild asthma
  • Foreign objects in the eyes or nose
  • Allergies
  • Minor Rashes and burns
  • Burning with urination
  • Eye irritation, swelling or pain

EMERGENCY CARE

If you have a true emergency, call 9-1-1 or go straight to your nearest ER.

The Emergency Room is for critical, life-threatening conditions that can’t wait. Some examples requiring immediate care would include:

  • Chest pain
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Stroke
  • Head trauma
  • Severe bleeding
  • Serious trauma, compound fractures
  • Loss of vision
  • Loss of consciousness, unresponsive
  • Diabetic coma
  • Animal bites especially if rabies is suspected
