Service Overview

From routine health and wellness exams to prenatal visits or the challenges of menopause, our team of nurses, technicians, support staff and board-certified physicians are here to provide personalized care for every patient.

The terms “gynecologist” and “obstetrician” are often used interchangeably, and many practitioners – including the team at WhidbeyHealth – are trained in both fields, referred to as obstetrician-gynecologists or OB-GYNs.

In addition, our Certified Nurse-Midwives provide care across the lifespan, not just around a pregnancy – annual gynecologic exams, family planning, various screenings and treatments pre-birth through post-menopause, and all the other important health events in between.

Gynecological Care

Gynecologists specialize in the health of the female reproductive system, so establishing a relationship at an early age provides continuity of care, creating trust and confidence should challenges arise. WhidbeyHealth gynecologists are trained to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions related to the female reproductive organs, including the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix and vagina. They provide a variety of services, such as routine examinations, Pap smears, contraception counseling, fertility evaluations, prenatal care, and treatment of reproductive system disorders. They also play a crucial role in women’s health by addressing issues like menstrual problems, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and menopausal symptoms.
